Full-Day Family Engagement Education Conference

This conference is aimed at on-the-ground family engagement/support and parenting education staff, across disciplines. This exciting opportunity is aimed at creating a network of peer and professional support for home visitors, parent educators, family resource managers, family advocates, youth librarians, community health and outreach workers, etc. We hope your organization may be able to build this opportunity into existing professional development plans.

The keynote speaker is Dena Simmons, ED.D, who serves as the Director of Education at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. She writes and speaks nationally about social justice and culturally sustaining pedagogy as well as creating emotionally intelligent and safe classrooms within the context of equity.
