Autism Basics: What to expect after diagnosis

A new diagnosis of Autism can feel overwhelming to parents and caregivers, but there are many resources available to help families as they begin their journey. Please join Swindells Resource Center and certified Autism Specialist Linda Sinclair at this free informational presentation exploring autism as a diagnosis, and the supports and resources available for families. The event will include:

  • An Autism overview
  • Best practice strategies for managing challenging behaviors
  • Services and community resources
  • General school information related to IFSP’s and IEP’s
