Debate Summer Camp Hosted by Bellevue Youth Debate

Is your student interested in public speaking and debate? Bellevue Youth Debate could be the perfect fit for your student! Join us at the Bellevue Youth Debate Summer Camp—open to all upcoming middle and high schoolers. No experience is necessary, and all students are welcome!
The camp will be held online from July 7-11 at 5:30-7:30 PM. We have different offerings for debaters of different skill levels, and will focus primarily on the Parliamentary format for middle schoolers and the LD format for high schoolers. In one week, you will learn the fundamentals of public speaking and debate necessary to compete in tournaments throughout the year.
Throughout our 3 years as an organization, our debaters have placed 1st in the Pacific Northwest twice, and we have ~100 placements at local, state, and national tournaments. Our coaches have extensive coaching and debate experience, with dozens of local, state, and national championships and placements. Our program directors are college debaters from Stanford and Pomona, and they are supported by high school coaches.
