Summer Reading Kick-Off with Petty Fever

The library is hosting a free special after-hours event in celebration of the start of summer reading on Friday, June 1, 6-8pm. This year’s theme is “Libraries Rock”. This is a great opportunity for readers of all ages to sign up for summer reading. Kids get a free book when they sign up!
Special guest Tom Petty tribute band “Petty Fever” will perform live from 6-7pm. Petty Fever delivers a stunning salute to Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, performing over four decades of classic Petty hits such as American Girl, Free Falling, Breakdown, Running Down a Dream, I Won’t Back Down, You Wreck Me and many more.
We’ll also have a photo booth, mascots, and balloon artists. Mark your calendar for this rockin’ event!
