- Developmental Disability (DD) Services in Clackamas County: Understanding & Accessing BenefitsPlease join Swindells Resource Center, in collaboration with Amy Jackson and Stacie Mullins of Clackamas County, for a free introduction to Developmental Disability (DD) Services. The presentation will cover:
-An overview of the I/DD service system
-A review of eligibility criteria
-Steps for how to apply (including required paperwork)
-A description of available services, including in-home “K-Plan” servicesAmy Jackson, Service Coordinator for Clackamas County DD Services, has worked in the social services field for 17 years. She has been with Clackamas County for eight years, and has extensive knowledge assisting families with accessing services and supports, and facilitating access to K Plan services. She also has experience providing advocacy, support, and case management for children’s services.
Stacie Mullins, Lead Eligibility Specialist for Clackamas County DD Services, has almost 17 years of experience assisting families and individuals through the intake and eligibility determination process, and is one of the most experienced eligibility specialists in the state. Stacie participates in statewide rule advisory groups, has been involved with core competency training of new eligibility specialists, and actively participates on statewide DD eligibility committees and workgroups.
